Job summary

BWX Technologies, Inc. in Lynchburg, VA, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer – Fuel Loading to coordinate with customers and suppliers, create SolidWorks designs, and support electromechanical assembly and testing.

You will develop advanced manufacturing technologies, prepare documentation, and provide broad engineering support across prototype and production activities. On-site role in Lynchburg, VA.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
• Minimum of four years' experience in Tool Design, Prototype Design, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Fluency in 3D modeling using SolidWorks.
• Ability to create engineering drawings with GD&T, material specs, and weld callouts.

Responsibilities

• Create design models and detailed drawings using SolidWorks and other methods.
• Provide engineering support for assembly, testing, and qualification of components.
• Lead development and qualification of advanced manufacturing technologies.
• Write manufacturing plans and testing/qualification reports.
