• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain DOE security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Manages projects through proposal, scoping, execution and reporting phases.
• Collaborates with production welding engineers and shop floor personnel.
• Works with customer representatives to meet project goals.
• Proposes new welding techniques or joint designs to meet objectives.
• Investigates modifications to welding processes to improve margins.
• Programs CNC welding equipment.
• Prepares welding procedures, drawings, and shop floor routing documents.
• Prepares customer submittals and transmits information through channels.
• Operates welding equipment on development tasks and performs other duties.
