Voyager Technologies in Pueblo, CO is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to translate development processes into scalable production for solid rocket motors and energetic materials. You will design, implement, and improve systems, processes, and tooling while ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Mechanical, Aerospace, Chemical, Electrical, or related engineering with 5+ years in manufacturing/process engineering, or Master's with 3+ years, or 9 years hands-on experience in lieu of a degree.
• Hands-on experience designing, SOPs, work instructions, process specs to production standards.
• Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma knowledge with measurable results in yield, throughput, or defects.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and improve manufacturing systems, processes, procedures, and tooling for solid rocket motors and energetic materials, ensuring safety, quality, and reliability.
• Lead transition of processes from development to full production with defined controls and gates.
• Implement Lean/Six Sigma to deliver improvements in safety, quality, reliability, cost, and throughput; monitor KPIs like yield and cycle time.
• Oversee production operations for solid rocket motor assembly and hazardous materials handling, coordinating with regulatory and external stakeholders.
• Create, review, and maintain SOPs and work instructions; train operations personnel in procedures and standards.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations for planning, budgeting, and program milestones.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing Development, Safety, and Compliance to embed production practices across the product lifecycle.
