Job summary

Voyager Technologies in Pueblo, CO, is seeking a Process Engineer to develop and improve manufacturing processes for solid rocket motors and energetic materials. You will collaborate across Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Safety, and Compliance to advance products from development through scale‑up in a fast‑paced environment.

The role requires 3–5 years of hands‑on experience, strong problem‑solving, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineering discipline with 3 years of experience in process/manufacturing engineering.
• Master’s degree with 1 year of experience or 7 years in lieu of a degree.
• Experience supporting process development and scale‑up to production qualification.
• Lean/Six Sigma or equivalent CI knowledge with process improvement experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, SOPs, and technical documentation.
• Root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies (8D, 5-Why).

Responsibilities

• Contribute across all phases of the process lifecycle from development through production readiness.
• Design, develop, and implement processes, tooling, and systems for propellants.
• Support transition of energetic manufacturing processes to full production.
• Apply structured problem solving to reduce waste, variability, and cycle time.
• Create and maintain SOPs, work instructions, process specs, and docs.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations for planning and milestones.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to build knowledge and leadership.
