You will design, implement, and improve systems, tooling, and procedures to ensure safety, quality, and reliability. The role leads the transition from development to full production, applying Lean and Six Sigma to boost yield, throughput, and defect reduction.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience implementing and improving manufacturing processes to production standards.
• Experience developing SOPs, work instructions, and process specifications.
• Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma with measurable improvement results.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and improve manufacturing systems and tooling for solid rocket motors.
• Lead transition from development to full production with process controls and gates.
• Apply Lean/Six Sigma to improve safety, quality, reliability, and throughput.
• Oversee production operations for assembly, energetic materials handling, and compliance.
• Create SOPs, work instructions, and technical documentation for production.
• Prepare technical reports for planning, budgeting, and milestones.
• Collaborate across Engineering, Safety, and Compliance to embed production practices.
