Job summary

Voyager Technologies seeks a Senior Project Engineer to lead end-to-end solid rocket motor design and manufacturing programs from concept through qualification, ensuring cost, schedule, and technical performance commitments. The role is onsite in Penrose/Pueblo, Colorado, reporting to the Program Manager, Solid Rocket Motors.

Responsibilities include managing the Integrated Master Schedule, interfacing with customers and subcontractors, mitigating risks, and ensuring compliance with safety,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Aerospace, or closely related field with 7 years of related experience or 11 years without degree.
• Experience with solid rocket motor design, development, and manufacturing processes with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to develop and maintain an Integrated Master Schedule and execute against program baselines.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Security Clearance (U.S. citizenship required).

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of solid rocket motor design and manufacturing programs from proposal through qualification, owning schedule, cost (via earned value management principles), and technical performance.
• Serve as primary technical interface with customers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and baselines through design, development, test, and production phases.
• Identify, assess, and drive mitigation of program risks and technical issues.
