Voyager Technologies in Pueblo, CO seeks an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead the manufacturing engineering function across the full product lifecycle for solid rocket motors and energetic materials. You will drive producibility, embed DFM thinking from design through rate production, and scale operations to meet surge demand in a DoD context.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters in an engineering field with 8 years of manufacturing engineering experience or 15 years without degree.
• 3+ years of leadership experience building and developing engineering teams.
• Deep expertise in DFM and DFA with producibility reviews and advanced manufacturing methods.
• Experience transitioning processes from development to full production, especially in defense/aerospace.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of manufacturing engineers across the product lifecycle, setting expectations and driving excellence.
• Serve as technical authority for DFM and advanced manufacturing methods across active programs.
• Own the transition of energetic manufacturing processes from development to full production.
• Lead development of next‑gen manufacturing systems and processes meeting DoD requirements.
• Translate program requirements into manufacturing strategies integrated into plans and budgets.
• Implement Lean and Six Sigma across development and production with measurable metrics.
• Manage relationships with tooling vendors, equipment suppliers, and customer reps.
• Recruit, onboard, and grow manufacturing engineers, building a strong pipeline.
