Job summary

Atlas Copco North America LLC is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer to optimize processes, support new product launches, and lead continuous improvement initiatives on-site in Rock Hill, SC.

You will collaborate across Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to drive efficiency, safety, and cost reductions through Lean and Industry 4.0 solutions. Strong CAD/GD&T, ERP/MES experience, and data analysis skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Manufacturing/Industrial/Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5+ years in a manufacturing engineering role.
• Proficient in CAD and GD&T.
• Experience with ERP/MES systems such as BPCS and data analysis.
• Fluency in English and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate tooling, equipment installations, and process validations.
• Lead continuous improvement projects using Lean, 5S, and Kaizen.
• Analyze production performance with data collection and time studies.
• Interpret drawings, BOMs, and product specs for manufacturability.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure readiness.
• Identify automation and Industry 4.0 opportunities to boost safety and productivity.
