Job summary

Saint‑Gobain North America is recruiting for the Essentials of Manufacturing Engineer – Mechanical Engineer as part of its 18‑month EOM development program. This role places engineers in a full‑time operational position at a single plant for 18 months with quarterly travel to other Saint‑Gobain sites across North America, focusing on manufacturing 4.0 initiatives.

Responsibilities include supporting site process improvements, safety and sustainability efforts, and implementing new automation

Qualifications

• B.S. in an engineering discipline (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Electrical etc.)
• Internship experience in manufacturing or professional setting is a plus
• Valid passport required for international travel to Canada

Responsibilities

• Providing engineering support for site process improvements.
• Supporting safety/sustainability initiatives at the plant.
• Implementing new automation processes at the site.
• Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for cost reduction and quality improvement.
