Job summary

Saint-Gobain North America is launching an 18-month Essentials of Manufacturing (EOM) program that places engineers in a full-time operational role at a single plant, with quarterly travel to other North American sites. The program balances on-site project work (80%) and EOM activities (20%), and aims to develop future engineering leaders for the Saint-Gobain network.

Qualifications

• B.S. in an engineering discipline (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Electrical, etc.).
• Internship experience in manufacturing or professional setting is a plus.
• Valid passport required for international travel to Canada.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for site process improvements.
• Support safety and sustainability initiatives at the plant.
• Implement new automation processes at the site.
• Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify bottlenecks and cost/quality improvements.
