Job summary

Saint-Gobain North America offers an 18-month Essentials of Manufacturing (EOM) program designed to develop engineers into future leaders in manufacturing. The program places participants at a single plant for 18 months, with quarterly travel to other Saint-Gobain sites in North America, combining classroom and hands-on learning to accelerate career growth.

Selected engineers will engage in process improvements, automation initiatives, and cross-site collaboration, aiming for eventual placement

Qualifications

• B.S. in an engineering discipline (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Electrical etc.).
• Internship experience in manufacturing or professional setting is a plus
• Valid passport required for international travel to Canada

Responsibilities

• Providing engineering support for site process improvements.
• Supporting safety/sustainability initiatives at the plant.
• Implementing new automation processes at the site.
• Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for cost reduction and quality improvement.
