Saint-Gobain North America is offering an 18-month Essentials of Manufacturing (EOM) program for engineers to become leaders in manufacturing. Engineers will rotate through projects at a single plant for 18 months with quarterly travel to other North American sites, combining classroom e-learnings with hands-on, site-based learning.

Qualifications

• B.S. in an engineering discipline (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Electrical etc.)
• Internship experience in manufacturing or professional setting is a plus
• Valid passport required for international travel to Canada

Responsibilities

• Providing engineering support for site process improvements.
• Supporting safety/sustainability initiatives at the plant.
• Implementing new automation processes at the site.
• Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for cost reduction and quality improvement.
