Job summary

Saint-Gobain North America invites engineers to join the 18-month Essentials of Manufacturing (EOM) program, designed to develop leaders for the next manufacturing revolution. Participants will spend 18 months at a single plant with quarterly travel to North American sites, gaining hands-on experience in lean practices, data analytics, and project leadership.

Qualifications

• B.S. in an engineering discipline (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Electrical etc.).
• Internship experience in manufacturing or professional setting is a plus.
• Valid passport required for international travel to Canada.

Responsibilities

• Providing engineering support for site process improvements.
• Supporting safety/sustainability initiatives at the plant.
• Implementing new automation processes at the site.
• Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for cost reduction and quality improvement.
