Job summary

Amarr, part of ASSA ABLOY, seeks an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to lead safety, environmental compliance, and training within our manufacturing operations. The role focuses on building world-class programs, coaching on safety culture, and driving continuous improvement across Mocksville facilities.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in manufacturing EHS, strong leadership, and the ability to influence at all levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, or a related field.
• Five or more years of experience in safety, training, environmental management, or manufacturing operations.
• Experience leading safety and compliance programs within manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, workers' comp, environmental compliance, and risk management.
• Proven ability delivering effective training and educational programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead safety audits, inspections, risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
• Serve as SME for EHS compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Manage workers' compensation programs, injury case management, and return-to-work initiatives.
• Oversee PPE, hazardous materials, fire protection, emergency preparedness, and asset protection.
• Partner with leadership to identify risks and implement preventive solutions.
• Monitor EHS performance metrics and drive continuous improvement.
• Promote safety culture and employee ownership of EHS performance.
• Prepare reports, policies, and communications on EHS performance and compliance.
