Job summary

Amarr, a leader in industrial safety and manufacturing, is seeking a Safety & Training Manager to drive world-class safety, environmental, and training initiatives. You will partner with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, and HR to reduce risk and elevate employee capability across the production floor.

The role emphasizes coaching, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement, requiring a proactive leader who can foster accountability and a culture of safety, learning, and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Engineering, Human Resources, Business, Education, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in safety, training, environmental management, manufacturing operations, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, workers' compensation, environmental compliance, and risk management.
• Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and coaching skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related business systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve safety programs to ensure OSHA/EPA compliance.
• Lead safety audits, inspections, risk assessments, hazard analyses, and incident investigations with corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver training programs related to safety, environmental compliance, and operations; maintain records and certifications.
• Lead ISO 14001 EMS initiatives and environmental compliance efforts.
• Support continuous improvement through GEMBA, root cause analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.
