Job summary

Trelleborg Sealing Solutions Switzerland AG in Seattle, WA seeks an experienced Environmental Health & Safety leader to implement ISO 45001, lead risk assessments, and drive safety programs across sites. You will manage audits, training, and incident investigations while coordinating with operations and engineering to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

Requirements include a bachelor’s in EH&S/engineering, 8+ years in facilities/EH&S, and 5+ years in manufacturing leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering or related technical field.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain ISO 45001 health & safety management.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement preventive measures.
• Lead safety committee; conduct trainings and audits.
• Ensure compliance with laws and develop policies.
• Inspect equipment for hazards.
• Investigate incidents and manage workers' compensation claims.
• Prepare reports on accidents, violations, trends; maintain metrics.
• Conduct internal and external safety audits.
• Oversee waste management, environmental compliance, and emissions.
• Collaborate with departments to develop contingency plans.
• Develop and maintain site EMS and related certification; ensure legislative compliance.
• Coordinate security, permits, and EH&S reporting per guidelines.
