Job summary

Trinity Consultants is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Specialist for a manufacturing site in Peru/LaSalle, Illinois. The role focuses on environmental compliance, ISO 14001 EMS, and safety program support at the site.

The candidate will lead air permitting, wastewater, SPCC, and RCRA management while driving OSHA safety initiatives and training across operations, maintenance, and leadership teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Technology, Occupational Safety, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of environmental compliance experience in manufacturing/industrial environments.
• Experience with air permitting, wastewater and stormwater, SPCC, RCRA hazardous waste, and OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and continuously improve the site's ISO 14001 EMS.
• Serve as the facility environmental subject matter expert for compliance with air/wastewater/SPCC/RCRA.
• Coordinate environmental permits, inspections, monitoring, and reporting.
