Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering or related technical field.
• 8+ years of related EH&S experience in facilities/maintenance and EH&S.
• 5+ years in manufacturing environment and in a leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain ISO45001 (Occupational Health & Safety).
• Conduct risk assessments and implement preventative measures to minimize workplace hazards.
• Lead the safety committee and conduct environmental and safety audits for manufacturing sites.
• Develop and implement policies to ensure legal compliance.
• Provide health, safety, and environmental training and incident prevention presentations.
• Inspect equipment to identify safety hazards.
• Investigate accidents, determine causes, and manage workers' compensation claims.
• Prepare reports on accidents, violations, trends, and environmental metrics.
