Zusammenfassung

RTX, a leader in aerospace and defense, seeks a Principal Manufacturing Development Engineer for our Tucson site. You will lead cross‑functional projects, develop manufacturing data packages, and guide producibility in support of complex programs.

This role requires active DoD security clearance and strong collaboration with engineering and operations teams. Ideal candidates have a STEM degree with at least eight years in manufacturing, process development, and CAD tools (CREO/ProE).

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience working in manufacturing production.
• Experience with manufacturing process development or improvement.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD clearance.
• Ability to obtain interim Secret U.S government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
• Current DoD security clearance (secret)

Aufgaben

• Lead and coordinate projects across the extended value streams.
• Develop Manufacturing Data Packages (MDPs) including instructions, workflow, labor standards, tools.
• Provide technical input to engineering designs and changes.
• Apply manufacturing engineering skills to resolve constraints and improve designs.
• Serve as the manufacturing and producibility authority within the program.
• Identify and resolve constraints across the program.
• Participate in corrective action investigations
