Job summary

A growing manufacturing company in Kennebunk is seeking a energetic and dependable Customer Service Representative to join their team. This fast-paced, customer-focused role collaborates with customers and internal production teams to keep orders, priorities, and deliveries on track.

Location: Kennebunk, ME. Pay: $20/hour with weekly pay. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40+ hours/week with occasional Saturdays. This position offers medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401K benefits.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service and people skills.
• Intermediate computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and solve problems.
• Self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable and dependable.
• QuickBooks experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries by phone and email.
• Coordinate expedited orders and customer requests with production.
• Track work-in-progress (WIP), lead times, and order status.
• Maintain spreadsheets and generate WIP reports.
• Coordinate customer-driven changes and prioritize urgent requests.
• Prepare and send formal customer quotes.
• Create quotes using established pricing.
• Coordinate order requirements with customers and production.
• Support customer surveys and trade show coordination.
• Use QuickBooks for reporting and other customer-related tasks.
• Blueprint reading is a plus, but training can be provided.
