Job summary

The Baker Company in Sanford, Maine, is seeking a Customer Service Representative to act as a key liaison between customers, reps, and internal teams. You will prepare and process quotes and sales orders, field calls, and provide timely product and pricing information while ensuring order accuracy and a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities include responding to inquiries, supporting a network of sales representatives, reviewing orders for completeness, and maintaining CRM/ERP data.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills and a professional, helpful approach.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical/problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with CRM/ERP systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inbound calls, emails, and inquiries in a courteous, professional manner.
• Support a network of independent sales representatives and partners.
• Prepare, calculate, and process customer quotes and sales orders accurately.
• Review purchase orders for completeness and accuracy.
• Enter and maintain customer and order data in CRM/ERP systems.
• Provide product pricing and information; work with Engineering on quotes as needed.
• Ensure inquiries are resolved promptly and orders are accurate.
• Build knowledge of product features and specifications and support QA processes.
