National Metalwares in Aurora, IL is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our on-site team. You will handle customer inquiries, quotes, orders, and updates using SAP, while maintaining accurate data and timely communication.

The role requires 2–7 years in customer service, strong written and verbal communication, and proficiency in Excel. You will collaborate with Operations, Engineering and Sales to resolve issues and ensure smooth order processing.

Qualifications

• 2–7 years of experience in customer service, manufacturing preferred.
• Experience with high-volume order entry and processing.
• Proficiency in SAP or ERP software (SAP strongly preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.

Responsabilités

• Correspond with customers via telephone, e-mail, fax, etc.
• Respond to inquiries, provide quotes, place orders and provide order updates.
• Track orders through delivery and update teams and customers as needed.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering and Sales to resolve issues; escalate when appropriate.
• Maintain knowledge of all products and services.
• Enter and maintain orders and customer data in order entry systems (SAP).
• Provide product information, order status, availability, and delivery updates.
• Coordinate with Sales, Production, Shipping and other departments to resolve concerns.
• Review purchase orders for accuracy, pricing, quantities, and delivery requirements.
• Maintain accurate customer records and order documentation.
• Utilize Excel to organize information, maintain reports, and track orders.
