Job summary

The Specialty Mfg. Co. is seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our White Bear Lake team.

The role focuses on enhancing client relationships through accurate and prompt service, managing orders, supporting sales, resolving billing issues, and preparing quotes. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in general work and 2+ years in customer service or sales, with a High School diploma or GED and ERP familiarity.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal, verbal, problem solving, and written communication skills.
• Professional proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Experience with enterprise resource planning software (Epicor, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Manage order life cycle through current enterprise resource planning software.
• Support sales and business development initiatives.
• Resolve billing issues.
• Prepare and send quotes to customers as well as potential customers.
• Resolve product or service problems, troubleshooting as necessary, and escalating or expediting to ensure a prompt resolution.
• Provide product or service information to existing as well as potential customers.
• Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts, and update customer records, as necessary.
• Ability to gain knowledge of and understanding of company's products and services.
• Work with price lists, credits, debits, and freight disputes.
• Communicate with internal teams to ensure customer’s requirements are met, and to resolve customer complaints.
• Notify customers of manufacturing delays affecting ship dates.
