Aston Carter is seeking a Customer Service Representative to support a growing manufacturing operation in Kennebunk, ME. The role acts as the primary liaison between customers and production, ensuring orders flow smoothly while delivering high service levels.

The position is on-site, Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, with a 3-4 month contract-to-hire path. Strong communication, organizational, and Excel skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize competing tasks.
• Strong organizational and follow-through skills.
• Self-starter capable of working independently.
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
• Experience in manufacturing or production support is a plus.
• QuickBooks experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email.
• Provide order status, lead time, and delivery updates.
• Track and maintain WIP reports.
• Coordinate expedited orders with production supervisors.
• Communicate customer requirements and priority changes to internal teams.
• Create and distribute reports using Excel and business systems.
• Generate customer quotes from established pricing.
• Monitor production schedules and follow up on open orders.
• Maintain accurate customer and order records.
