Job summary

Augmentis is seeking a Cost Accountant for a manufacturing environment with aerospace components. The role partners with operations to optimize costs, ensures GAAP compliance, and supports inventory valuation, cost rolls, and annual counts.

Relocation to Southern California’s Inland Empire is offered, with 30–60 days remote onboarding. A BA in Accounting or Finance plus 2+ years in cost accounting is required, along with strong Excel and ERP familiarity.

Qualifications

• BA degree in Accounting or Finance.
• +2 years of Cost Accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Expert skills in all accounting disciplines, including financial reporting, cost accounting, budgeting, planning, and forecasting.
• Ability to administer and coordinate multiple ongoing projects within targeted timelines and costs.
• Knowledge of Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and other tools; Infor Visual Manufacturing and Infor Global Financials desirable.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Operations Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Procurement, Outside Processing, and Inventory Control to improve operational excellence.
• Manage cost accounting transactions to ensure compliance with US GAAP and costing policies.
• Ensure inventory valuation accuracy through costing, analysis, and cycle counts.
• Assist in daily and monthly P&L preparations and margin analyses.
• Lead annual physical inventory counts and quarterly mini counts.
• Support ERP upgrades and Lean initiatives; assist in forecasting and budgets.
