Augmentis is seeking a Cost Accountant for a manufacturing environment and relocation to Southern California's Inland Empire. You will partner with operations to improve gross margin, manage cost accounting transactions, and ensure GAAP compliance.

The role offers strong training, comprehensive benefits, and growth opportunities. A BA in Accounting or Finance and 2+ years of cost accounting experience are required.

Qualifications

• BA degree in Accounting or Finance.
• +2 years of Cost Accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Expert skills in financial reporting, cost accounting, budgeting, planning, and forecasting.
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects within timelines and costs.
• Proficiency with Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint; knowledge of Infor tools desirable.

Responsibilities

• Partners with Operations Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Procurement, Outside Processing, and Inventory Control to improve operational excellence.
• Manages cost accounting transactions to ensure US GAAP compliance and costing policies.
• Ensures inventory valuation accuracy through costing, analysis, and cycle counts.
• Performs analysis to support cost reduction goals and assists in preparing P&Ls.
• Leads annual physical inventories and assists in ERP upgrades and LEAN initiatives.
