Job summary

Augmentis is seeking a cost accounting professional to join a leading aero engine and industrial components supplier. The role collaborates with operations to reduce costs, manage cost rolls, and ensure accurate inventory costing and margins.

The position offers full relocation assistance to Southern California’s Inland Empire, with remote start for 30–60 days while relocation is completed. Strong insurance, 401(k) matching, and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• BA degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2+ years cost accounting experience in manufacturing.
• Expert in financial reporting, cost accounting, budgeting, planning and forecasting.
• Ability to manage multiple projects within timelines and costs.
• Proficient with Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint; knowledge of Infor systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Procurement, Outside Processing, and Inventory Control to improve operational excellence.
• Manage cost accounting transactions to ensure US GAAP compliance and costing policies.
• Ensure inventory valuation accuracy through costing analysis and cycle counts.
• Assist in daily and monthly P&Ls preparation.
• Lead annual physical inventories and quarterly mini counts.
• Support forecasting, budgets, and operating plans with finance leadership.
