Job summary

Augmentis is seeking a Cost Accountant with a BA in Accounting or Finance and at least two years of manufacturing cost accounting experience. The role involves managing cost transactions, assuring US GAAP compliance, and supporting budgeting and forecasting initiatives.

Qualifications

• A BA degree in Accounting or Finance.
• +2 years of Cost Accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Expert skills in all accounting disciplines, including financial reporting, cost accounting, budgeting, planning, and forecasting.
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects within timelines and costs.
• Knowledge of Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint; Infor Visual Manufacturing and Infor Global Financials is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Partners with Operations Management and other teams to improve operational excellence.
• Manages cost accounting transactions to ensure US GAAP compliance and costing policies.
• Ensures inventory valuation accuracy through costing, analysis, and cycle counts.
• Prepares daily and monthly P&Ls and updates standard costs for each work cell.
• Leads cost data preparation for major business decisions and supports ERP upgrades.
• Participates in LEAN initiatives and provides financial support as needed.
