Job summary

Augmentis Group is seeking a cost accounting professional for a manufacturing environment in the Inland Empire. The role emphasizes cost control, standard costing, and financial reporting under US GAAP, with opportunities to lead cost reduction efforts and support ERP upgrades.

Relocation assistance is offered, and candidates may begin remotely for 30–60 days while relocation is arranged, before transitioning to on-site operations.

Qualifications

• BA degree in Accounting or Finance
• +2 years cost accounting experience in manufacturing
• Expert skills in financial reporting, cost accounting, budgeting, planning and forecasting
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects within timelines and costs
• Proficiency with Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint; knowledge of Infor tools desirable

Responsibilities

• Partner with Operations Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Procurement, Outside Processing and Inventory Control to improve operational excellence
• Manage cost accounting transactions per US GAAP and company costing policies
• Ensure inventory valuation accuracy through costing, analysis and cycle counts
• Support Operations to achieve cost reduction goals
• Prepare daily and monthly P&Ls and update standard costs for work cells
• Communicate margin analyses to Operations Management
• Contribute to ERP upgrades and Lean initiatives
• Assist in budgeting, forecasts and annual inventories
