Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or combination of work experience and skill development.
• 0-1 year experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Safely use small hand and power tools.
• Read and interpret drawings and Bills of Material.
• Basic computer skills.
• Read instructions and understand verbal instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Study assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists.
• Gather parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
• Position parts and subassemblies and ensure correct fit.
• Assemble components and verify connections.
• Assist in prototypes or basic assembly projects as needed.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness in the work area.
• Conserve resources and use equipment efficiently.
• Train others in basic assembly tasks as needed.
• Inspect work and document production and quality forms.
