Job summary

ASTEMO AMERICAS, INC. is seeking a Manufacturing NE Supervisor to provide front-line leadership to the manufacturing associates and support the Manager I in continuous improvement activities within the Assembly and Machining departments.

The role requires hands-on manufacturing experience, strong communication, and problem-solving skills; the supervisor will ensure safety, 6S, training, and timely payroll and production reporting.

Qualifications

• 12 months related education, experience and/or training in a similar position.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Professional communication in a corporate environment.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Safety policies and report unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Supervise Assembly/Machining department associates and technicians.
• Ensure PPE and safety devices are used correctly and maintained.
• Drive 6S activities and weekly audits on production lines.
• Manage training and certification for processes supervised.
• Track PM projects and production reporting.
• Complete payroll every Monday by 9 a.m.
• Maintain schedules and approve overtime with department manager.
