ASTEMO AMERICAS, INC. is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing & Operations professional to lead and sustain production lines in our Georgia facility.

You will oversee machine and manpower alignment, drive daily output, and coach operators to follow procedures while maintaining safety and quality standards. The role emphasizes problem escalation, downtime tracking, 5S compliance, and effective communication with group leads and support departments.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent required.
Demonstrated leadership skills required.
Three (3) years manufacturing experience with preference in equipment setup, CNC machining, measurements, and calculations.
Enough reading and writing ability to follow work order instructions and prepare simple production reports.
Basic math skills.
Enough manual dexterity to operate machines properly.
Enough visual acuity (corrected) to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts/products.
Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds frequently.

Responsabilités

Maintaining control over the production line (Machine and Manpower).
Escalation of problems to the Group Lead and proper notes on L2L observations; oversight to ensure procedures are followed.
Ensure daily production activities are communicated to Group Leads; downtime documentation and production logs updated during shift; support problem resolution and repairs as needed.
Enforce 5S, PPE, and safety rules; coach team members; ensure start-up/shutdown procedures are completed.
Lead shift start meetings; ensure training completion for new operators; review work instructions with designated area.
