Job summary

ASTEMO AMERICAS, INC. is seeking a Maintenance Team Leader to guide technicians, respond to downtime, and drive safety, quality and productivity on the manufacturing floor.

You will communicate with maintenance leadership and production engineers, train staff, manage spares, and use the Gemba method to identify countermeasures and track progress. This on-site role requires strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.

Qualifications

• Must have mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes in required areas.
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose a wide variety of machine malfunctions.
• Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
• Commitment to quality and passing on knowledge.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic machine adjustments.

Responsibilities

• Respond to downtime calls and resolve issues to minimize production downtime.
• Lead and develop maintenance technicians; train on standardized work.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed and PPE used.
• Communicate downtime notes and reports to leadership and engineers.
• Identify spare parts needs and contribute to MRO planning.
• Utilize Gemba boards for problem solving and update training matrix.
