Job summary

ASTEMO AMERICAS, INC. is seeking an entry-level Production Team Member to set up, operate, and troubleshoot assembly line machinery at fixed workstations. You will move, pack, and sort materials, monitor quality, and maintain daily records as part of a supervised team.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Ability to read and comprehend basic work instruction.
• Ability to do basic math.
• Mechanical aptitude - the ability to do basic machine adjustments to insure quality products.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, verbal and written communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot manufacturing assembly line machinery/equipment at fixed workstation positions.
• Operate machinery/equipment to install a piece/part/component as it moves along the assembly line.
• Move, pack, and sort raw materials or finished goods.
• Monitor the quality of output and discard or re-manufacture faulty products.
• Maintain accurate daily assembly production records as input to manufacturing performance analysis.
• Follow safety rules; wear PPE; participate in 5S and continuous improvement.
• Be flexible with shifts, production lines, and departments as needed.
