Job summary

ASTEMO AMERICAS, INC. in Georgia seeks a Production Manager to develop and oversee strategic and tactical plans that hit divisional and corporate objectives for profitability, cost control, quality, compliance, and internal customer service.

You will lead assembly operations, manage scheduling, tool/equipment staffing, and oversee continuous improvement, safety, and regulatory compliance in a warehouse/production environment.

Qualifications

• Four year degree with at least 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing leadership role.
• Automotive industry experience preferred.
• Proven knowledge of production, scheduling and shipping operations.
• Familiarity with IATF16949 , ISO14000 and OSHA regulations.
• Proven ability to motivate team efforts to accomplish goals.
• Proven experience in hiring, conducting performance reviews, and administering corrective actions.
• Must have proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of assembly operations, processes, procedures, work instructions and schedules.
• Ensure preventive maintenance and downtime planning for equipment.
• Allocate tools, equipment and staffing to achieve results.
• Plan and coordinate activities to fulfill sales orders and inventory requirements.
• Develop and maintain reporting on productivity and quality.
• Drive corrective actions to improve KPI performance.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering and Maintenance to improve processes.
