Job summary

Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client in Pleasanton is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team. This role handles high-volume AP tasks in a manufacturing environment and requires on-site work for training with potential off-site Fridays.

The ideal candidate will be proficient with ERP systems (Sage, NetSuite, Oracle), detail-oriented, and capable of communicating effectively with vendors and internal teams to ensure accurate, timely payments.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounts payable, preferably in a manufacturing, food manufacturing, or packaged goods environment.
• Proficiency in using accounting software; experience with major ERP (Sage, Netsuite, Oracle) is preferred but not mandatory as training will be provided.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with vendors and colleagues.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Managing high-volume accounts payable processes using accounting ERP software (training provided if needed).
• Ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
• Collaborating with team members to resolve any discrepancies or issues.
