AppleOne is seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist (AP/AR) in Paramount, CA for a temp-to-hire role. You will handle AP/AR, invoicing, reconciliations, and general ledger tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

You will collaborate with purchasing, production, warehouse, and shipping teams, ensuring accurate accounting records and timely month-end support. This role offers growth through a temp-to-hire pathway.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of accounting experience (AP/AR) or related finance.
• Strong invoice processing, payment posting, reconciliations, credits, adjustments.
• Experience matching purchase orders, receiving documents, and vendor invoices.
• Support bank reconciliations, journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and month-end close tasks.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and electronic file management.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, follow-through, and organizational skills.
• Professional communication with vendors, customers, and internal departments.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including vendor invoices and customer payments.
• Match POs, receiving docs, and vendor invoices with proper pricing and account coding.
• Reconcile vendor statements and assist with past-due follow-up.
• Support inventory, freight, manufacturing cost reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Maintain accurate records and reports to support month-end close.
• Communicate with vendors and internal teams to resolve discrepancies.
