Hertz Local Edition (HLE) is hiring a Manager Trainee to support location performance, develop leadership skills, and prepare for promotion to Branch Manager in 12–18 months. The role offers a path to leadership with hands-on experience in sales, operations, and administration, plus a starting wage of $38,480 per year or $18.50 hourly.

Qualifications

• Must be 20 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong computer and multitasking skills.

• Flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Sales & Customer Service: Support achievement of location sales goals and deliver excellent customer experience.
• Operations & Fleet Management: Gain hands-on experience in fleet logistics and inventory control and assist with store operations.
• Vehicle and Facility Care: Support team with cleaning, lot management, and customer service assistance.
• Finance & Administration: Learn finance processes and support deal completion and understand reporting and metrics.
• Leadership Development: Shadow and support management, build skills in team leadership and scheduling, and prepare for future leadership roles.
