Hertz Local Edition (HLE) is hiring a Manager Trainee to support location performance, develop leadership skills, and prepare for promotion to Branch Manager in 12-18 months. Starting wage is $38,480 per year or $18.50 per hour.

The role offers exposure to sales, operations, fleet, finance, and leadership development in a fast-paced, locally focused environment. This position emphasizes learning all aspects of the business while contributing to customer service excellence and location growth.

Qualifications

• Must be 20 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong computer and multitasking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to grow.
• Exceptional time management skills.
• Flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support achievement of location sales goals and deliver excellent customer service.
• Learn and apply sales techniques and CRM best practices.
• Gain hands-on experience in fleet logistics and inventory control.
• Assist with store operations and compliance.
• Support team with vehicle preparation, lot management, and customer service tasks.
• Learn finance processes and support deal completion; understand reporting and metrics.
• Shadow and support management; develop team leadership and scheduling skills; prepare for future leadership roles.
