Job summary

Hertz Local Edition (HLE) is hiring a Manager Trainee to drive location performance, develop leadership skills, and prepare for promotion to Branch Manager within 12–18 months. This role offers hands-on exposure to sales, operations, and finance in a fast-paced setting.

The starting wage is $33,280 per year or $16 per hour. You’ll gain experience in fleet management, customer service, and leadership, with structured training and mentorship to help you progress to a branch leadership role.

Qualifications

• Must be 20 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong computer and multitasking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Experience working in a professional environment.

Responsibilities

• Sales & Customer Service: support location sales goals and deliver excellent customer experience.
• Operations & Fleet Management: gain hands-on experience in fleet logistics and inventory control.
• Vehicle and Facility Care: assist with cleaning and preparing vehicles for customers and lot management.
• Finance & Administration: learn finance processes and support deal completion.
