Hertz Local Edition (HLE) is hiring a Manager Trainee to support location performance, develop leadership skills, and prepare for promotion to Branch Manager in 12–18 months. The role offers hands-on experience across sales, operations, fleet, finance, and leadership development in a fast-paced setting.

The starting wage for this position is $33,280.00 per year or $16.00 per hour, with competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities to advance within the Hertz network.

Qualifications

• Must be 20 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong computer and multitasking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Sales & Customer Service: support location sales goals and deliver excellent customer experience.
• Operations & Fleet Management: gain hands-on experience in fleet logistics and inventory control.
• Vehicle and Facility Care: assist with cleaning, lot management, and customer service assistance.
• Finance & Administration: learn finance processes and support deal completion; understand reporting and metrics.
• Leadership Development: shadow and support management, build skills in scheduling and performance coaching, prepare for leadership roles.
