Job summary

Menards seeks a Manager Trainee in Vernon Hills, IL. This paid, full-time training program develops you for a future management role and hands-on experience across store operations.

As you progress, your General Management team and Store Leaders will mentor you to understand our business and prepare you for advancement within Menards’ 330+ locations, Corporate Office, and distribution centers. You’ll receive on-the-job training and promote-from-within opportunities.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and develop a team.
• Demonstrated leadership experience or degree in business.
• Willingness to participate in an extensive training program.

Responsibilities

• Develop and train store staff through the Manager Trainee program.
• Partner with management to learn operations and store leadership.
• Progress to a management role across 330+ store locations.
