Job summary

Loudoun County Government’s PRCS division seeks a Manager on Duty to supervise facilities across Ashburn, Sterling, South Riding and Aldie. You will ensure high guest satisfaction, oversee staff, and manage event operations in a dynamic public-service setting.

The role requires a high school diploma, 1 year of related experience, some supervisory exposure, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Scheduling across early mornings to evenings is common.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of related experience in parks, recreation, or facility management.
• 6 months of supervisory or team-lead experience or formal supervisory capacity.

Responsibilities

• General supervision of the facility, day-to-day operations and service standards.
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, training, and supervising staff.
• Oversee facility maintenance and setup/takedown of programs and events.
• Use automated systems to create and process reports, inventories, rentals, and cash handling.
• Prioritize health, safety, and customer service standards for all customers and ensure contractual compliance of events and amenities.
