Manager Maintenance

Your main responsibilities
  • Provide general plant maintenance for machinery, equipment, and building systems, including preventive maintenance programs.
  • Direct and coordinate activities of contract workers engaged in repairs, maintenance, and installation tasks.
  • Review job orders, schedule repairs, and coordinate activities to ensure continuous operations.
  • Develop preventive maintenance programs with engineering and maintenance staff.
  • Review reports and statistics to plan and modify maintenance activities.
  • Install, remove, or transport equipment as needed.
  • Source parts and repair or replace components.
  • Inspect operating machines for conformance with standards.
  • Improve operations through new methods, minimize costs, and optimize resources.
  • Coordinate with design engineers on new product plans and equipment needs.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of building and grounds, including hiring and supervising service providers.
  • Train workers, resolve maintenance issues with management, and manage departmental budget.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work environment, adhering to safety regulations.
What you bring
  • Strong leadership, communication, analytical, collaboration, and people management skills.
  • Manufacturing/Industrial engineering knowledge.
  • Computer skills and continuous improvement mindset.
  • Preferred: Degree in a related technical field and at least 10 years of manufacturing experience with strong maintenance background.
