Job summary

America’s Thrift, a growing retail chain, seeks a Manager in Training to step into a full-time leadership role. You will gain broad operational experience across sales, donations, and store operations while helping meet financial and production goals.

You will mentor teams, drive service excellence, and participate in onboarding, training, and promotional activities. This role emphasizes growth and leadership within a dynamic thrift-store environment.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and people-development skills, with the ability to motivate, coach, train, and develop team members to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve results.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and point-of-sale (POS) systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Asset Protection and People & Culture to investigate incidents and support follow-up with leadership.
• Delegate daily tasks to supervisors and team members to fulfill operational requirements.
• Coordinate deposits, currency exchanges, and alert management to cash or operational concerns.
• Lead and inspire a dynamic team while maintaining a supportive, accountable work environment.
• Uphold company policies, safety protocols, and standards to support operational excellence.
• Provide coaching and feedback through regular performance assessments.
• Develop team members for growth and advancement within America’s Thrift.
