Established in 1963 in the Blue Ridge foothills of North Carolina, Leonard Buildings and Truck Accessories manufactures and distributes storage buildings, trailers, truck covers, accessories, and more. We operate over 150 retail stores across eighteen states, supported by corporate offices, distribution centers, and manufacturing facilities.

Job Summary

The Manager, Construction is a remote position requiring travel to construction sites across the U.S. This role oversees business development for construction projects, manages client relationships, and leads projects from inception to completion. Reporting to the Director of Real Estate and Construction, it includes 2 direct reports.

Key Responsibilities

1. Conduct site evaluations and feasibility studies.
2. Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets.
3. Coordinate with stakeholders to define project goals.
4. Secure permits and approvals.
5. Lead teams, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure timely, within-budget project completion.
6. Manage schedules, resources, and procurement.
7. Oversee all construction aspects, including site prep and landscaping.
8. Ensure quality, safety, and compliance with codes and regulations.
9. Monitor budgets, identify cost savings, and report financially.
10. Develop mitigation strategies for risks.
11. Maintain positive vendor and regulatory relationships.
