O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a skilled Merchandise Accounts Payable supervisor to lead the AP team and ensure accurate, timely payments to merchandise suppliers. You will coordinate with vendor credits, resolve discrepancies, and collaborate with IT and Finance on the Oracle AP module.

You will also assist with personnel matters, salary budgeting, and dashboarding of AP data to support merchandise and corporate departments.

• Partner with Supply Chain Finance and banks for checkout processes.
• Assist with personnel matters including hiring and salary budgeting.
• Act as subject matter expert on Oracle Accounts Payable module.

Oversees the daily operations of Merchandise Accounts payable. Responsible for staff management, communication with other departments as well as vendors, problem solving and training.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Manage all AP merchandise staff. Lead and direct staff both through instruction and by example. Primary function of match to pay merchandise invoices and accurate timely payments to merchandise suppliers.
• Coordinate with Vendor Credit to ensure checking of vendor credit batches on a daily basis to assure that all returns, credit letters, credits, and debit paybacks are interfaced into AP from the vendor credit system properly.
• Work with vendors on credit discrepancies and communicate those differences to the appropriate members of management.
• Work closely with AP supervisor and leads to maintain efficient workflow and good work environment
• Coordinate the Supply Chain Finance function with both vendors and the facilitating banks.
• Assist supervisor with all personnel matters including hiring, reviewing performance evaluations, and correction action measures. Make salary recommendations and assist Director with salary budget planning.
• Work closely with IT and Finance as the subject matter expert on Oracle Accounts Payable module
• Accumulates and reports AP data/info as needed to Merchandise and other corporate departments.
• Work closely with Information Systems to make sure we have efficient systems.
• Look for and implement ideas and opportunities that will streamline efficiency in AP.
• Lawson system issue resolution
