Job summary

Brex is hiring for a Manager in Account Servicing within the Operations group in New York City. You will lead a team responsible for wires, statement adjustments, billing changes, auto-pay, vendor onboarding, and credit reporting, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.

You will partner with Product, Engineering, and Legal to drive process improvements, automate repetitive tasks, and scale operations as Brex grows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in financial services or fintech operations, including 2+ years managing people.
• Hands-on ownership of a servicing, billing, payment, or credit operations queue with controls.
• Proven track record of reducing handle time, backlog, or errors through process improvements.
• Experience partnering with Product and Engineering: writing requirements and testing builds.
• Strong data fluency and ability to defend numbers in SQL, spreadsheets, or BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Coach and develop a team of servicing specialists and build redundancy.
• Set and defend SLAs, quality bars, and capacity models across diverse workflows.
• Define operational reporting cadences to guide staffing and prioritization.
• Write and maintain SOPs, QA sampling, and maker-checker controls for accuracy.
• Serve as escalation path for high-dollar, time-critical, and legal cases with cross-functional teams.
• Own the automation roadmap for the team, quantifying impact and requirements.
