Job summary

Privilege Rooftop & Lounge in Houston is seeking an energetic Floor Manager to lead shift operations, mentor front-of-house staff, and ensure exceptional guest experiences.

You will set the tone on the floor by enforcing quality standards, maintaining health compliance, managing scheduling, and partnering with leadership to train, interview, and hire staff. This role offers flexible scheduling and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of supervisory experience in a high-volume restaurant or bar.
• Must be 23+ with Food Handler, TABC, and Manager certifications.
• Strong communication, leadership, and knowledge of health & safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead FOH operations, assign duties, and conduct pre-shift meetings.
• Greet and seat guests, resolving service issues promptly.
• Train, mentor, and provide feedback; assist with interviewing and hiring.
• Enforce food/drink safety, menu accuracy, uniforms, and health regulations.
• Assist with inventory checks, ordering supplies, and opening/closing tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Shift Operations: Lead FOH operations, assign section duties, and conduct pre-shift meetings.
• Guest Service: Step in to greet and seat guests as needed, resolving service issues promptly.
• Team Coaching: Train, mentor, and provide constructive feedback to staff; assist with interviewing and hiring.
• Quality & Safety: Perform regular line checks to enforce food/drink safety, menu accuracy, uniform standards, and health regulations.
• Shift Admin: Assist with inventory checks, ordering food and supplies, and opening/closing tasks.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: 1–2 years of supervisory experience in a high-volume restaurant or bar.
• Age & Certifications: Must be 23+ with valid Food Handler, TABC, and Manager certifications.
• Skills: Strong communication, positive leadership, and knowledge of health/safety guidelines.
