Job summary

Workstream in Houston is seeking a Floor Manager to lead front-of-house operations, mentor staff, and uphold quality guest experiences. You will set the tone on the floor, enforce standards, and ensure health compliance across shifts.

You will train and coach team members, assist with hiring, manage inventory and opening/closing tasks, and handle guest issues promptly with a positive leadership approach.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of supervisory experience in a high-volume restaurant or bar.
• Must be 23+ with valid Food Handler, TABC, and Manager certifications.
• Strong communication, positive leadership, and health/safety guidelines knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead FOH operations, assign duties, and conduct pre-shift meetings.
• Greet and seat guests; resolve service issues promptly.
• Train, mentor, and provide feedback; assist with interviewing and hiring.
• Enforce health, safety, menu accuracy, uniforms and health regulations through regular line checks.
• Assist with inventory, ordering, and opening/closing tasks.
